    The best chicken strips I've had outside of my own kitchen.  Well worth the ride into town and lovely ladies serving diners.  

    A much gentler, courteous place than the hustle and bustle of Southern California, simply good food cooked up with care and live.

    This was our first time to Kathy & Carrols Coffee shop.  The restaurant was clean and service was good. Our coffee cup was never empty.  We both had the chicken fried steak with eggs over, hashbrowns, and biscuit and gravy.  Gravy was loaded with bacon and sausage. Food was very good but in my opinion needed a touch more seasoning.
    We will definitely go back in the future.

    This place was wonderful!! A great find!! If you like your food homemade and prepared well, then definitely stop here. The service was 5 star, and even the other patrons were 5 star!! GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS WONDERFUL ESTABLISHMENT!!!

    Came in and had Breakfast the other morning. Food was really good. I had eggs over easy which were perfect hash browns were good. The chicken fried steak I had I think was a product but it was good. Best thing I liked was the biscuits and gravy. Tip order more gravy it was loaded with sausage. So good! The biscuits were fluffy and perfect. Service was great coffee was good.

    Very nice waitress, and very clean! We ordered the french toast, which was generically good. Eggs and sausage were good. The biscuits and gravy were not good. The gravy was not hot, and you could taste the flour chunks and sage, but no seasoning that tastes good. Do not recommend gravy. I would try the restaurant again because there's nothing else decent in Waterford.
